OUR STORY

Capitol Edge Consulting was founded in 2013 by Debbie Broadfield and Susan Clark, now retired, with a shared commitment to providing thoughtful, ethical, and effective government relations services throughout Illinois.

As the needs of clients have evolved, so has the firm. While government relations remains a cornerstone of Capitol Edge's work, the firm has expanded its services to include strategic consulting, stakeholder engagement, coalition development, and executive advisory support. Today, Debbie leads Capitol Edge as President and Owner, helping clients build relationships, navigate complex policy environments, and identify opportunities that extend well beyond the legislative process.
